SketchUML Project
SketchUML is a TabletPC based e-Learning tool that incorporates a pen-and-paper-like interface for simplistic and anturalistic computer-aided design. This is meant to facilitate the learning of complex design principles and paradigms in Computer Science.
As many CAD tools are very complex in nature, these products inhibit the learning of design-aiding markup-languages like UML. It is necessary to learn the CAD tool first in order to learn the paradigm. SketchUML's mission is to assess the usability, efficiency and effectivity and none the less the fun aspect of minimalistic and naturalistic Tablet PC-based learning software to teach design paradigms and principles in Computer Science. In particular, SketchUML focuses on UML, and can easily be scaled up to serve the needs of other design paradigms.
