Summary
Both pages, The Daily WTF and Mike William's Google Maps API Tutorial have positive and negative aspects. This page shortly explains both.
Mike William's Tutorial Site
The good thing about this site is that it gives a good overview of the available classes of the Google Maps API. A search function of the browser is a must-have - an internal search function or breaking down the content alphabetically would help. An important tip regarding the design is using a different color palette - while blue in blue is certainly pretty, it doesn't help in browsing the content.
The Daily Worse Than Failure
The navigational structure on this site is great - it allows for quick and easy access to the content. Right now, I find it hard to come up with any tips that would improve the site, except of maybe making contact information more obvious. If you want to send the owner an email, you really have to search for the information. Making these information - that are located on the footer - more obvious would be the way to go.
